my happy place...
Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 8:05AM quaint, lovely, yadayadayada...no need to use pretty words to describe this family home in denmark...

danish decorator/stylist katrine martensen-larsen outdid herself. a photo-worthy home that is so family oriented is such a dream of mine. we are merely working on a home that is free of visible stains (throw pillows work quite nicely for this) at the moment.
upon my happy place search for the day, i stumbled on another spot i am dying to share with you...may have to break down later today, or tomorrow morning. xo mrs. french

That entry is great! Love this place, I could definitely be happy there. :)
I cannot wait to see the next one....this one is stunning!
The Danes never cease to amaze me! What does surprise me is how normal a home like this is here. I'm telling you... good design is in their blood!
so serene! and that baby swing is awesome!!
Unstuffy elegance. I love it. I would love to see more of the grounds of that house, too. The exterior seems just as inviting as the inside.
ok. i want this house, every. single. piece of it. i really need to get on the white bandwagon...
Wow, I want that house to get in my house. Every bit of that house is gorgeous.
How refreshing to see a real home looking as nice as any show home. Although modern in design, Katrine has managed to keep some charm and character throughout and was brave enough to use the character filled table with drawers as in the 7th picture.
The floor is a nice choice throughout and it looks as if she chose a nice sunny day in Denmark to take some beautiful pictures. I think every picture in this blog is charming and I simply love this home.
I particularly liked the mysterious looking stairway and the bathroom although small in size, is wonderfully thought out. The modern feel does not take away any of the charm.
It does not appear to have the largest of rooms in places and therefore, I commend the great use of space, never too cluttered and beautifully laid out.
I assume that the 18th picture is a basement and it looks great combining an office space with a wine cellar. Although the main focus is on the inside of the house, I would love to see more of the outside as what glimpses we have appear very charming.
One of the nicest homes I've ever seen I adore it.
Beautiful home, i love it
Umm.. I am in love with this home. It's perfection!
