my happy place...
Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 10:43AM i am wordy, actually, when it comes to my dear blog it's the photos...i am all about the photos. i cannot scale back; editing out photos is not my strength. i have actually been trying to edit a bit more, watching not to post every photo i come upon that coincides with a post that inspires me. well, friends, today all of my editing skills have gone out the window. i did try, but this guest home is a weakness. i glimpsed the magnificent a while back on everybody's favorite remodelista. i cannot get it out of my head, i go back again and again which is why i had to share today...

designer alexandra angle has created a guest space i would never want to leave (it would be an ugly scene; forcing me to leave as i hold on with all my might to anything i could grab on to). of course, the scandinavian style has my heart beating fast, but the eclectic quirkiness and laid back california attitude has me all weak in the knees. i so wish i could perform some serious cut and pasting from this home to my own.

that trellised area is impeccable! These are getting added to my pinterest, for SURE!
Oh my heaven!!! I would become a permanent guest in that house. They would have to physically remove me. SOOOOO wonderful!!!!
And, I'm bad about editing photos also. I'm all about the photos always!
Thanks for sharing.

I can't even wrap my head around that fact that it is one house! I love it so very much! Every single detail has me weak in the knees! Thanks for the non-editing! xo Samantha
If that's the guest house, I would love to see what the main house looks like...
SO lovely and light! I could curl up in that hammock right now...
Best,
Tina

Love the rocker, do you know where it is manufactured?....smiles.
That outdoor bathtub just toppled me right out of my chair.
I'm typing this comment from my floor.
your photos make me dream... and with these summer days, those small and large garden corners are absolutely amazing to have near. i so wanted a green corner... but my corner is so small... even so, i will try my very best! interesting design choices in several of your choices too!!!! have a great weekend!!! :) twiggs
It's just beautiful. I'm glad you posted all the pics.
