my happy place...

let's face it, bliss is a feminine blog.  most of my happy places are also subtly feminine, which is why it's nice to put forth something a bit masculine.  masculine in a way i could live with...i will always love pops of pink here and there, but i could definitely be quite happy here...

I like pink but I'm really loving the relaxed feeling of this place. Just by looking at the house from in and out, I can really tell that you can really achieve peace and quiet here. I love the cozy feel of the colors used in the interior and the space created by the large windows and of course some fun thanks to the swimming pool at the back. A perfect family home. Though I noticed, you didn't feature the bedrooms.

Thanks for all of the nice comments about my home and my design. The image behind the couch was a photo that I took of the mountain view that you would see if the wall was all glass. I wish the house had more windows facing Mt. Olympus so I decided to create the allusion by sending in the photo and having it turned into wallpaper. I designed the couch and had it made locally by the carpenter that was recommended to me by Walls, ( A local wallpaper gallery) Anywho... thanks for all of your nice comments. Cody Derrick.
